Clouded Leopard Effects brings to you, the DATACLAST, a faithful reproduction of the Channel A preamp of the classic Ampeg VH-140C solid state guitar amplifier, in pedal format.
If you're a fan of '90s death metal and hardcore, then you've heard this sound before. Pioneered by seminal bands of the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Morbid Angel, Gorguts, Assuck, etc., the amp is known to deliver tight, high-gain metal tones. Scoop out the mids for some classic death metal, or boost the mids for some thrash metal. You can also get some good ol' fashioned rock and roll tones by dialing back the gain.

CONTROLS:

GAIN - Clockwise for more distortion, counter- clockwise for less distortion.
LOW - Clockwise to boost bass, counter- clockwise to cut bass.
MID - Clockwise to boost mids, counter- clockwise to cut mids.
HIGH - Clockwise to boost treble, counter- clockwise to cut treble.
LEVEL - Volume control.

Depending on your rig, the high levels of gain on this pedal may introduce some noise. We highly recommend using a buffer before this pedal. If you do not have a dedicated buffer pedal, any buffered bypass pedal will do.
